About Me
Russell Trahan
Nearly the first half of my life was spent in Texas, mostly in a small town on the east side of Houston called Galena Park. Most of the second half of my life so far has been in Illinois (never Chicago) and a short stint down in Oklahoma. I’ve been married to the same beautiful woman for over 35 years and we have 3 grown children living all over the U.S.
I’ve worked in quite a number of industries with a concentration in technology – business computing. I’ve done computer programming, database work, and now focus on project management. My entire career has been about interfacing with the technically challenged and providing solutions to meet business needs.
My interests include music expressed through my guitar playing. Over the last couple of years, I’ve taken up wood working and have really enjoyed learning and building. I read anything and everything because learning is a lifetime endeavor. Add in old movies and that pretty much sums up my non-work activities.
Finally, but not least, following Christ has been a critical part of my life journey. While this is not a faith-oriented blog site – my faith does influence my beliefs and my responses to life events.
With that said – I’ll be blogging about my technology interests, old movies, and my wood working projects. This is my Odyssey – feel free to join me.
